Flash Jacket Workshops
Posted by Priscilla on July 9th, 2013
A number of groups have already booked a FLASH JACKET WORKSHOP. They have been so popular and such fun that others are planned for 2013-14 in Devonport. In fact, if a minimum of 5 people can get together and it can be arranged at your venue at a time to suit you. Make something magical, turn an old jersey into Wearable Art. email firstname.lastname@example.org for all the details.
All you will need for this class is a machine knitted jersey or cardigan that you are prepared to cut up, something that no longer fits, or you have found at the Op shop would be just fine. Bring with you a pair of sharp scissors, a range of yarns in colours that would look good on your jersey and some embellishments, a crochet hook, knitting needles, including a fine one for picking up, needles and threads. Morning and afternoon tea will be supplied, so just bring something to share for lunch.
We will have such a fun day and you will be well on the way to making something wonderful to wear and amaze your family and friends. It could even be a new and exciting direction in your life.
