Course at Auckland University on MEDIEVAL FOOD; FEAST AND FAST beginning on 25th July 2014

GREAT NEWS! Priscilla's next course at Auckland University will be MEDIEVAL FOOD: FEAST & FAST. It will trace the history of food and the social, religious and domestic values placed on it and usually there will be food made to Medieval recipes to taste during the classes. Part II of the HISTORY OF FASHION begins on the 17th July 2014. It will concentrate on the 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th centuries.

Selwyn Campus NEW Lecture Series 2013. After a very successful first series, Part I we are all set to begin Part II of the HISTORY OF FASHION. Fashion always reflects to some extent the social and political events of the times and these events effect everyone, whatever their class or station in life, a very exciting area to explore! Further series of lectures on the Selwyn Campus include THE SECRETS OF SILK beginning on 21st August and MARCO POLO AND THE SILK ROUTE beginning on the 30th October.
